First Holy Communion
"Take and eat" - Holy Communion is one of the few things that Jesus commanded us to do and it is a meal that Christians have shared in ever since Christ first broke bread at the Last Supper.
Children who are in school Year 3 (aged 7/8) or above are invited to come for their First Communion. They will need to be baptised (christened), or they can be baptised as part of their preparation for Holy Communion.

If you would like your child to receive their First Holy Communion - please speak to the Vicar.

Your child will then be invited to a Holy Communion preparation session, in which we will explore what it means to be part of the Body of Christ through various activities and games. These are usually held approx. once a year in the spring.
If you are an Adult who has never become a Communicant member of the Church before...

All are welcome at the Lord's Table; if you believe that Jesus loves you, died for you, and came back to life to offer you eternal hope then you are welcome to receive communion in church.
If this is you and you have come to know and love the Lord, then we would encourage you to consider Baptism or Confirmation. These are special moments in our journey of faith in which we can publicly declare our faith in Christ and our decision to follow Him. If you would like any more information - please speak to the Vicar.
